Terrible Positive: Handy to beach. reasonable facilities. Negative: TV not woorking. Emailed host 30mins after check in. NO RESPONSE.

A little disappointing, and unfortunately uncomfortable due to certain things however it suited for a short stay. Positive: The location was great, and walking distance to everything you need. Spacious, and contained everything you need for a short stay. Negative: We checked in on the Friday night, and despite being 9:30pm it was extremely humid and hot outside. Upon entering one of the two apartments we booked, we noticed how hot it was inside. We attempted to turn on the split system aircon and it wouldn’t work. We spent the night with the ceiling fans on in the bedrooms just to try and sleep. The rear bedroom with bunks had no fans and my children had to sleep with us and on the couch. We raised the issue as soon as we could (that night) and with complete appreciation to the host to enquire with their handyman / electrician to come and check/fix the aircon, we were asked to check various things to try and fix it ourselves, and then further told it wouldn’t be possible to rectify the problem before we checked out on the Sunday. We had hired both bottom floor apartments which gave us an option to spent most of our time in there however if we hadn’t, it would have been extremely inconvenient. We were not offered any other solution either which was disappointing. Also, this apartment in particular (5) was quite dirty as well in comparison to the other one we booked. We moved the couch ottoman to use it for its purpose and found rubbish underneath. Myself and my wife swept the floors ourselves upon arrival for we constantly stepped on dirt throughout the place. the aircon (that didn’t work) was layered thick with dust when we checked the filter to perhaps fix the issue as asked by the host. The other apartment however was much more well kept so I’m not sure why this was.

Positive: Location is superb
